2026 Sportsman’s Banquet
Our recent Sportsman’s Banquet was an incredible evening filled with fellowship, generosity, and a shared passion for the outdoors—and we’re excited to report that it was a tremendous success.
With an attendance of 110 supporters, the event brought together members of our community who believe in the mission and future of our troop. Thanks to their enthusiasm and generosity, we raised over $3,200 to support our programs and activities. Even more encouraging, several attendees were inspired to take the next step and signed up to join Troop SC-1801, helping us continue to grow and impact more young people.
One of the highlights of the evening was our raffle, which drew a lot of excitement throughout the night. We were able to raffle off an impressive selection of items, including:
4 firearms
10 fishing poles
2 kayaks
And numerous additional donated items
The energy around the raffle was contagious, and it played a major role in making the night both fun and successful.
Events like this would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to:
L.A. Gun Vault - donating 3 firearms
Five Grands Coffee - donating 2 bags of coffee
Garris Taxidermy - donating numerous turkey calls
RD Reynolds Outdoors - donating 2 kid kayaks and fishing poles
Grove Connection - donating website and marketing material
John Strout - donating fishing poles
Jerome Palmer - donating a muzzle-loading firearm
Destiny Bible Church - hosting the event
Your contributions helped make this event truly special.
We also want to give special recognition to our guest speaker, Jamie Holler (YouTube Channel), who delivered an engaging and meaningful message that resonated with everyone in attendance. His words were a powerful reminder of the values we aim to instill through our troop.
The Sportsman’s Banquet is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of community, mentorship, and the outdoor traditions we hold dear. Seeing so many people come together in support of our mission is both humbling and motivating.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported this event. We’re already looking forward to next time and continuing to build on this momentum.
